Pity wilkos have gone bust ray. You could have bought a couple of 3 ins brushes and a gallon of gloss , and come away with plenty of change from 2K ...

The general rule of getting paint applied to a car allow aprox £250 to £500 a panel depending on the amount of work needed before the paint goes on. If it is just faded and generally needs smartening up you will get away with the lower amount but if every panel has numerous dents, some minor rust and lacquer peel it will be the higher figure.
I would avoid a body shop who say they can do it for £1500 and bring it around next week, run. Most body shops are booked weeks ahead for jobs like this and it should take several weeks. |
