Default Fuel pump derv Which Relay??

I have been having problems with the starting of my zt derv, sometimes the fuel pumps wont turn on and after turning the key on and off a number of times they come back to life. I think the fault is the fuel pump relay in the under glovebox fusebox, i have swopped the relays over and the pumps now fire up. I could do witha decent diagram of the fuses and relays as the haynes manual is useless. I could do with knowing what the relays in the under glovebox do?? As on leaveing out the faulty relay everything seems to work.
Am off to the scrapyard in the morning they have a v6 in i just hope that they have similar relays.
Thanks

Is it a Mk1 or Mk2? The fuse boards are different. The later board uses mini fuses, the earlier one, 'standard' size fuses. I'll post a diagram once we know which system you have.

Sounds like the under bonnet pump has had it. They go intermittent before failing completely. Try turning the ignition on tapping the under bonnet pump, if it isn't running, and see if it then comes into life?

I doubt it is a relay.

I had the same issue with my R75 diesel , that was the under bonnet fuel pump.

Mines a 2003 mk1, The pumps either both work or nothing, and it takes numerous turning on and off of the key and eventually they fire up again.
Thanks for the diagram i advance
