All you can do Zeb is reduce slighltly the gap between the bonnet edge and top of grille/bumper. Not perfect without redesign but is an improvement.

Another member has written about this (and posted silver pre facelift before and after pics within the the last month I think)

Same method applies to facelift's

Well, I did it - placed 3 washers under the 9 bolts holding the bumper at the top, although I think you can't really tell the difference To me it looks as though the plastic around the bolts is lifted but the rest of the bumper has barely budged. Here are some pics:

BTW, a tip given to me by my 8 year old(!), to keep the washers together when placing under the plastic ... use the tiniest speck of blutack and they hold together as one and can be easily slipped in with one hand!
