Can anyone tell me if its possible to get an SE badge? There's one on the exploded view in CDTi's earlier post, but I've never seen one anywhere.
Regards

Its an 'se', not an 'SE' and its quite small - 15 X 25 mm. Its more of an aluminium colour than chrome. I never stuck it on as it just didn't look right. Maybe I'll dig it out and look at it again.

Re badges
Could anybody tell me how to get a badge(Union jack)off so as to replace with new one.
Just a thought while i'm on re 'SE' badge why can't you make one up from the loose letters in chrome that are available at halfords and most car spares shops. |

All the badges are stuck on with double sided adhesive tapes. Heat up with a hair dryer and they will peel off as soon as the adhesive is hot enough. Won't hurt the paint. Clean up with Carbon tetrachloride or Isopropyl alchohol, (tar spot cleaner)

Posted By TaiChiMan. I stuck some badges on the back of my tourer
PS........any comments about position and whether they are level would be most unwelcome I thought they look just fine TaiChiMan. Here is a Couple of mine with extra Non MGR Badges etc. Please excuse Temp Number Plate, being re done as used Flag Overlay instead of printing/Stickering correctly and didn't centre flag and covered surround Line. Seen new proof and will soon be fine! Last edited by JohnDotCom; 9th April 2007 at 23:15.. Reason: Posted Photos rather than links |
