I'm sure I read somewhere that the 75 and ZT 1.8t produced the same power, they just rounded the figure up for the ZT and down for the 75! Anyway, I'm surprised there hasn't been a tuning option for the 1.8t. I find it a good balance between performance and economy even if it isn't the smoothest or quietest unit in the world, but the potential for a bit more oomph wouldn't go amiss. Could become a real Q car at 180 bhp. I wonder if the elise lot have done anything?

iirc Rincewind counselled against putting a turbo on the KV6. I do like the idea of a 1.8T, mainly because of the weight difference and potential for tuning.

Didn't we have a thread/pics/member discussion or combination of all three on dump valves for the 1.8T a while ago?

Default 200 BHP down to 150??

Rover did seem to go backwards on the Power spec
I my old 620 Ti (200 BHP T series engine) was a cracking car for performance and handling.
Sold to my Brother inlaw after 7 years ownership
At least it's still in the family

Moto-Build do a set of cams for the N/A K Series, don't know if they're suitable for the 1.8t.

They claim an extra 22 bhp for the N/A 1.8. Now my 1.8 is running the Land Rover gasket & engine rail I'm a bit tempted.

How about making the 1.8t breathe better & run cooler - decent K&N filter, bigger intercooler, oil cooler & proper exhaust system should make a huge difference without too much outlay.

Trouble is insurance companies start getting prissy with modified cars.....
