There are a couple more on there that I'm keeping an eye on, but I daresay they will go just as high.

You should see what they charge for the Automatic Gear Wood Knob, Ouch! Cheaper to purchase the one from a BMW dealer!

Do you know just how long it takes to grow a wooden knob?

Cliff (teflon) this is what I have on my Handbrake (same seller, too, and I recognise a good few names as buyers in his feedback list!).

I think it was Keith who did a how-to to fit it. I cut a fraction too much off the length of mine, but I'm used to it now. Well worth £15 IMHO. Then you can buy gaiters to match the upholstery as suggested by Radi8or, and copied by me. See my avatar pic

Following the tip off from Malcolm above, my new Freelander handbrake handle arrived safely today. Took about an hour to fit (including time spent faffing about deciding what to drill it with) and looks rather splendid if I say so myself (see pics below).

I should add that when I first looked at the handle, I was convinced it was plastic, but when I stated drilling, the plastic "liner" came out and the handle is most definatly good old fasioned wood.

Thanks again for the tip off Malcolm,

Cliff

Glad it worked out - the Freelander Handbrake was I think Keith's "discovery" (sorry about that), I just latched onto it.

Is the next step the dash and switch cover kit? My dash is plastic wood, so I bid on a WalnutDashCompany one. Slight colour mismatch, but much better IMHO than the black climate cont and radio facias.
