Who wants a Breakfast Meet on 8th December
Who wants a Breakfast Meet on 8th December somewhere near M3
Cannot book Frimley for 8th December!!!!!! sent e-mail 7th Nov just got a reply today. Trying for Brekkie 1st Dec or Lunch 8th Dec. Waiting response. Could go to The Staverton at Maidenhead. Not keen on Toby at Old Windsor. There is a Toby at Langley. I suspect Dec is silly season. Anyone got any ideas. Maybe forget Dec and go to Frimley early Jan. I will check this out and book it tomorrow for 8th Dec if they can take us. Any interest in Harvester at Frimley Green?£8.99 Includes unlimited Tea Coffee Fruit Juice etc Mornings were made for our unlimited breakfasts, available all week at Camberley! It includes eggs, bacon, sausage (including vegan and vegetarian sausages), and so much more, all freshly cooked to order. All of our cooked breakfasts include our unlimited Breakfast Bar, so you can enjoy our continental breakfast at no extra cost, including toast, cereals, fresh yoghurt, fruit and more. Thanks Fred you are the only one to respond. Just another thought to all you usual suspects. We can always take pot luck at Frimley and just have Breakfast anywhere we can sit. Maybe that Booth near the door and Toilets. The nightmare maybe Feral Kids all excited by Santa. BAH HUMBUG!!!! Again. We can always go back to The Ugly Duckling. If there is no further interest I will not bother with a December meet and will book Frimley for January. |

I would not be able to make any breakfast meets in December. But I might be able to make a meet in January depending on date, I’m away on the 25th.

Frimley Meet 8th Dec
Hi Pete,
If you do get enough interest in a meet for around 8th December, then I think that I would prefer a Toby Carvery and not a set meal with table service. You remember the troubles we were having with this kind of set up at Camberley? !! Wrong food delivered to the table ...Items missings, etc.... Toby carvery is always a winner...serve yourself, as much or as little as you want....great value. What about the one at Epsom, any good or too far ? If not , then suggest we wait until January for Frimley again. Ching ching John.

Myself and Nora would be happy with a December 8th meet, but understand if Xmas arrangements prevent it happening. Like you, I'm not overly keen on the Old Windsor Toby - last time we visited it was pretty grim (though that was a while ago now).
Happy to go along with whatever you decide Peter, but if responses are low, maybe postpone 'till Jan? Cliff

Hi Peter, from the peanut gallery, are we not going to have a Christmas lunch or breakfast meet?
