First one just dropped through the letterbox 10 minutes ago. I've been told I'm writing ours tomorrow.

Never sent cards of any kind, Christmas, birthday, Mothers, Fathers day, not pandering to any American money making scheme. No pumpkins, no turkey, any kids knocking at the door begging for money is given short shrift. I don't buy anything on "Black Friday". No first foot allowed in unless they have a piece of coal, Easter eggs must be hard boiled & painted by the kids. I could go on but you might think I'm a grumpy old man

Had an email from friends saying that they would not be sending Christmas cards this year but making a donation to a charity of their choice.

I’m not too sure if they will or won’t, they are both as tight as a ducks posterior, prey sure this is just a cop out way of doing nothing.

After spending about 4 hrs wrapping presents for 3 g/children,i put forward a suggestion to them for next year.
Jack wraps Kates', Kate wraps Emes', Esme wraps Jacks'.
They agreed it was a brilliant idea.
