Default Don't forget your wheel arches!

Time to get busy with an old toothbrush and clean behind those wheel arches - you will be amazed at just how much muck they have collected!

I was surprised at how much muck found its way behind the rear mudflaps on my Tourer and accumulated around the metal bracket that extends down from the bottom of the forward edge of the wing (the bracket acts as a mounting point for the rear bumper). If left, this would I am sure, be a prime spot for rust to take a hold.

You would be surprised at how much rubbish gets between the wheel arch liner and the paintwork.

perfect conditions for tim worm to start.

I'm not sure on the layout of a 75/ZT arch, but they usually trap silt and mud where liner and metal joins.
