Default what is the best way to remove the parcel shelf?

Think I picked up a bargain yesterday a rear parcel shelf electric blind and switch for £50.

I have check at the switch end and the wiring for the switch is there can I therefore assume that the wiring will also be at the blind end?

What is the best method to remove the shelf? Haynes say remove rear seat is that necessary? It looks like the whole thing is just clipped in with just 1 red clip in the boot to be pushed up.

Confirmation and tips appreciated.
