Right Size Wheels
I have 15" crowns and love the comfortable ride they give, but I'm not to keen on the style. I have also considered changing tyre size up to 215 x 15 but again not sure.
Would a 16" wheel with a tyre designed for comfort, be OK and keep my comfort level. Any suggestion on 16" wheel styles and suitable size tyres would be most welcome. trimani |

I had 15" Crowns on my last Rover 75, and this one has 16" Unions fitted.
Must admit that I prefer the look of the Unions and haven't noticed much difference in the ride quality. I am running on Continental Premium Contact 5s. Worth pointing out that 215 55 R16 tyres cost about half as much again over the 205 60 R15s

Much as I liked my Serpents, I needed a bit of extra comfort and the Unions have provided that.
And they suit the car perfectly.

Thanks for the replies guys.
Looks like i'll be going for 16" unions with the best 215 x 55 x 16 I can afford. Cheers trimani (Alf) |

I've got Goodyear Efficient Grip, I think they are superb and they didn't cost the earth.
