Cheapest tyres?
Hi all, does anyone know where I can get the cheapest fitted tyres from? The size is 225 45 18 for my zt, and they need to be real budgets! Any info would be great.

Try blackcircles.co.uk or .com cant remember which. They send the wheels to local garages wjo do the work and look for a discount code aswell shoild bring the price down even more.

Wheels and brakes are what keeps you on the road..... what you pay for is what you get... What price on your life and others ? Just a thought.....

Thanks Thomas i will try there abd Andrew, obviously life is priceless but when I have not got bottomless pockets and am on a real budget at the moment, new budget tyres are going to be better than the barely legal ones on it.

Thought about part worn tyres?
I just know that idea will create a wave of posts, but there are places out there that can supply premium part worns that are probably a better bet than some of the horse cart cheapies. Ask around locally there's bound to be one. Just make sure you insist on inspecting the tyres yourself. Just a thought.

Lots of controversy surrounding budget tyres. The best approach is to try and stretch to a set of mid range tyres if funds allow.
The size you require are still rather expensive, expect to pay around the £65.00 mark,or purchase them on eBay and have them fitted locally. |

I paid £67 for a new budget from Britannia tyres but i think the nearest to you is derby so just get the yellow pages out. Some of the places that do part worn also do cheap new tyres
