Due the commencement of a rather noisy quiz night during our our Tuesday meeting at The Thorn Inn in November, it was decided to try changing the day of future meetings to the first Thursday in every month.
(There's also a possible advantage for people who prefer a steak to a curry, because the offer of a meal and a drink for a set price applies to steak meals on a Thursday.)
Funny what the mind brings back. In the 60's I used to look forward to Thursday night because that's the night TOTP aired. The cultural fair of BBC2 arrived too late to save me.
