Default Lost locking wheel nut.

Hi guys.

My rover was in for a service and the locking wheel nut is missing which surprised me.

Anyway I asked them to drill the lockers off and replace with normal bolts.

They phoned back to say that cannot locate anyone with wheel bolts for these cars and have asked me to source my own.

I still have the original receipt with the number of the locking wheel nuts, but I'm just going to drill/remove the old lock nuts and replace with new normal bolts.

Can anyone give me the part numbers as there seems to be different lengths of bolt.

Have seen Xpart branded non lock bolts for Rover 75 on E bay for £17.95 would these fit ??

Graham, you will need to check to see if you need a 14 or 15 plinth nut. Its 15 for the earlier models and 14 for the later ones. I have both.

If you don't get sorted by Sunday bring some spare normal nuts to the Corbridge event and we will remove the lockers there.

I was referring to the number of plinths.

Far easier to quote the numbers, otherwise you might confuse the issue.

Hi Paul.

The locking wheel nuts have been removed by the garage that did the service and MOT, at moment I have four nuts securing each wheel, I'm not bothered about locking nuts, am happy with just getting standard bolts to replace them.
