I paid £320 for a wedgewood blue with neptune interior 2.0 v6 auto connie.

I have put new shocks front and rear, top mounts on the front and rear, had the belts done, new lower front arms, changed the wheels to crowns, changed a few body panels for ones with better paint (had to travel from yorkshire to suffolk to get the panels) original set of slim line roof bars, headlights polished.

Im sure theres other stuff i have missed.
I have got loads of neptune blue parts if you need any interior trim

Now in the hands of Elroy who is doing a sterling job of restoring it.

My son’s car was likely to have been broken up for sparesif I had not bought off him.I have spent over a grand on it so far. It owes me £1500 in all now. No body rot so why break it up. People are purely mercenary when money is mentioned. It is a pity they are not the same when it comes to other parts of their lives

Trouble is unless you are a true enthusiast you have no idea of the significance and an early 75 is just an old car.

This is supposed to be an enthusiasts club, but at times it seems far more like a mutual praise and congratulation society.
