Default Help re-formatting a micro sd card resolved

I just got a micro sd card with 128gb storage. I put it in the dash cam and it said I needed to format it so I did. I thought I'd got some recording so went to view it in my pc. The pc said said I had to format it so I did thinking the dash cam had not done it... but now the properties show it is just 28gb.

How do I reformat it?

I am pig ignorant with this stuff so please, I need very precise instructions

thank you

by chance the wife is using the pc and so I have started using my lap top. the lap top seems to have been able to re-format the sd micro card.

I'll go and test it but so far i'm feeling relief

Ditto - I'm on my 3rd dashcam (don't ask!) and all have been limited to 32gb cards.
