Rear mudflaps for all models now !
Ok all,
Many thanks for your responses so far. We have had a chat in the office and it looks like we should look into reintroducing a wider range. so, the poll above will now include saloon and pre and post facelift models. Also, it has been commented that a bit shorter would be better to stop them catching. That is also an option. Will keep you up date with any info. Cheers Stu

Both without Saloon with saloon mudflaps tourer with saloon mudflaps The profile of the inner wheelarch part of the facelift tourer bumper is broader than the saloon, see this thread. http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...light=mudflaps

Nice pictures and thanks for your input. We are looking into doing both now. Facelift Saloon and Tourer.

Firstly, I would like to say that x-parts support to the MG-Rover Car fleet has been excellent has been excellent since 2005, and I recongise the lengths that have gone to reintroduce items that have not been avalible.
I think its fantastic that xpart are looking into remaking the mudflaps, even if it means retooling. However, I can't help but think it strange that something as un-vital to the continual exsistance of the 75 is worth putting back into manufacture, rather than say, some other items with, due to being NLA, could cause cars to be "written-off" as such, even those parts are reletivley "easy" to produce Im typically thinking of PFV000090 (V6 Lower coolant pipes) where a common failure part is typically NLA, although its been left for the "community to find a solution (see http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ad.php?t=99819" Im sure Xpart could have reintroduced these, if these chaps can for £60 in stainless, as you did with the F/Tf underfloot coolant pipes Sorry, I do appreciate the work that goes on to support the cars, keep up the good work! |

Update.
Mudflaps first............. Right, pre facelift sets are on order. Both Saloon and Tourer. With ref to X10Rich's comment above, we are also sourcing some of these pipes PFV000090 but hopefully in S/S. Should have a sample in tommorrow.

Right, now then, back to facelift mudflaps.
It looks like we are going to have to re tool ( OUCH ) but we have a problem. As we have no originals or CAD models to work from..........Here we go....., has any body got any we could "borrow" as samples? I am sure a brand new set would be on offer ( if it is viable of course ) if anybody can help? Cheers Stu
