Coolent loss on 2.0 V6
For some reason my 75 is losing coolant while the car is standing (i.e not being run). Its dropped from just above max to just above min over one night, and i've done this a couple of nights to make sure. I've had a look round and had the cover off and checked in the V and can't see anything.
Has anyone got any idea's where to look or what it could be?

Usual culprit is the Stat, next suspect would be water pump for me. You need to park the car on a dry piece of cardboard or similar and look for the evidence next morning

Check carpets in front footwells for dampness, could be possible leak on matrix or pipes, at least a quick cost nothing elliminator

Ditto , I had the same experience of losing a little water steadily but with nothing to be seen in the vee . It proved to be the forerunner to a massive sudden water loss when the plastic elbow alongside the thermostat broke up Leave the cover off the engine and keep looking in that vee just in case . THe other advice about taking off the undertray and parking on a piece off cardboard or similar is also excellent advice .
