What pin or connector do I need for the thin green wire to connect it to the LSM for the towbar what's it called and where can I get one

You need a Rover Towpack kit, NLA of course.

It's more than a single connection to the LSM I;m sad to say.

Yes I know that I got it in my car but the thin green wire is not connected I want to connect it up but what connector for wire do I need what's it called

I'm with Mac. I've connected several tow-bars--( and they work. ) but never heard of this thin green wire.--

I just used a tow-bar kit from witters and never went near the LSM.----

[it lets you know when a bulb has gone it comes up on the dash I believe it goes to pin 9 on the LSM just wanted to know how to connect it to thelsm

just to clarify for my understanding, it lets you now a trailer bulb has gone or a bulb on the car?

As I understand it lets you know when a bulb has gone on what you tow it senses the voltage drop when a bulb goes and then lets you know by a light on the dash

The wiring that you're referring to is the link lead kit for later cars.
LINK KIT YMZ000120 FROM VIN 24554 TO 03MY279844
YMZ000150 FROM VIN 279884
It's used in conjunction with the original MGR tow bar wiring kit

Rimmers have YMZ000150 in stock

The fitting instructions are on Rave in the acessory section, I don't have access to my laptop at the moment so aren't able to advise how it's fitted but here's a thread on here that may help.
