Default Lots of talk, yet little choice but to do repairs

Houses of Parliament, Westminster Hall and the towers each end apparently are in a poor state of repair. No real choice but carry out what's needed, or to sell 'as is' to a foreign buyer on full repair and maintenance lease. As if that could even be considered though wouldn't expect any shortage of offers!
So why all the discussion, get on with it

They are only raising it now, so they can say that we need to have a full power shift to Brussels!

The tories will sell because they can't steal - simple as. If they could have lifted it and took it away it would be in the back garden of one of their stately homes.

Knock it down, we only need a handful of MP's anyway, not 650 of the greedy robbing sods.

They say it's timing that makes the best comedians.
Announcing a £7.5 bn. refurbishment for the Palace of Westminster at the same time as £12 bn. cuts in welfare has disillusioned me.
I used to think parliament was full of comedians but thanks to this timing, I'm not so sure.
