I give up with my doctor! I've been trying to contact him for three weeks to get these PSA blood tests arranged locally at our clinic & he's just got back to my email & said you'll need to sort it out with your urology team at Bolton hospital
The whole point of having these blood tests done with the local district nurse is to relieve pressure on the hospital.

I'm going to have a trip over there & see them as my hearing is pants on a telephone.

Well that was a wasted trip! The place was gridlocked with cars trying to find somewhere to park & they have car parks as big as football grounds , you couldn't even find a single parking space. Not risking anymore parking eye fines so said s0d it & came home.

I live within sight of Bolton Royal Hospital, and must agree parking there is a nightmare, especially early afternoon as visiting starts. 🙂
There appears to be more staff parking places than staff members! 😕

Yes the parking has been really bad there for at least the last twelve months & with all the new building work going on there seems no end in sight.
Still haven't been able to speak to the relevant people in urology yet either

Edinburgh is the same, centralising everything at the Royal Infirmary complex. What were originally car parks have been built on.

Severe senior moment earlier. I'll go and collect my repeat prescription, nip into B&M next to the pharmacy and get a few things. Walked through the door of B&M and my mind clicked on the wrong button . . . . it clicked on delete shopping! WTF do I need I'm wandering around the place staring at the shelves trying to remember what I went in for. Got most of it but not all. Pharmacy wasn't a success either, pharmacist was on lunch and the two staff there couldn't find where she'd put my stuff, reckon it was put aside because there were items outstanding. Had to phone after I got home and speak to the pharmacist, trying again tomorrow.
