Default CDTi jobs completed so far

In the last few months, despite money being tight and with careful spending and a bit of help from the misses, and lots of help and info from this site, I have managed to do the following to my CDTI.

1. Fitted Synergy 2 (xmas pressie)
2. Replaced knackered maf with Pierburg maf
3. Done the intake mod 2
4. Done the bonnet release mod (only after mine failed first tho)
5. Replaced intercooler O rings with Viton ones
6. Changed PCV filter
7. Cleaned EGR ( now disconnected )
8. Replaced Pollen, Air and fuel filters.
9. Had oil and oil filter replaced.
10. Sorted coolant loss with replacement of 70pence gasket.
11. Hardwired satnav into car
12. Regularly checked Plenums and done the spyhole mod.
13. Fixed leaking washer jet bottle.

Still to do, check cooling fan operation and replace if neccessary.

The car absolutely flies now and MPG is up from 34 at a push to an easy 39-44mpg depending on driving style. Had her up to 58.8mpg on a trip to Manchester recently. (figures from IPK so not that accurate) Will wait and see if the new filters fitted today have any effect on the mpg.

Any other recommendations guys?

A big thanks to everyone who contributes to this forum and particularly those who have given me help and advice. Without which I would probably not have had the confidence to tackle half the jobs I have done and therefore spent a hell of a lot of time and money in the local mechanics!
