Had felt my rain sensitive wipers were a bit erratic so popped off the cover today and found the sensor wasn’t clipped in correctly. Took it out and cleaned up everything and clipped securely back in place. Now they work perfectly, nice easy fix thanks to members previous postings on here

Removed a poorly KV6, tomorrow I’ll be cleaning the engine bay in prep for painting the inner wings and chassis legs, May as well make it nice while the engine is out.

Took the KV6 Connie to have its track checked at Tyresrus at 10.00 am, having fitted two new trackrod ends, I thought Now was the time to get the steering geometrical checked. Back ok, front a little tweak on each side of the newly fitted ends, £15.00 . Drives now without pulling to the left. Job done.

Pumped up the osr tyre on Banana plus the spare wheel. Think we may have a slow puncture on the rear tyre. And checked the others. My neighbour has compressor, thus saving me £1 for “free” air.
And gave ole Yella another wash.

Took a run to Ardnamurchan lighthouse today (Ardnamurchan point most westerly part of UK mainland) with the family. Kids behaved and so did the ZT. Once home, all fed and everyone else was away to bed I got the stainless compensator from Arctic fitted that arrived today. Handbrake now spot on, 3 clicks holds nicely compared to the 5 or 6 with old one.

Wow! Keep up with the pics. Looking like a good start. You can have any colour you like, so long as it's black (as Mr Ford used to say)! My favourite.

Fitted this nice little double din - Android 9 - £60 on the Bay. Big shout out to Colin NI and his brilliant video and link to purchase - mine is a bit different and I think I put it in the fascia differently - I used the foam packaging it came with and some silicone to secure it inside the frame. Can't get the steering controls working which is a real shame but everything else is tickety boo. Light years ahead of the old Navall unit I had which packed up on me a few weeks ago - thankfully - I hated it!
