I'm not going to be able to get any pics during, shame really. But some pics before and after isn't a problem.

Here is a pic of when she went in, if you wonder why she looks at an odd angle, her rear end is jacked up.

I think she looks quite happy now she is being pampered, typical women.

Paul, clock the Mini at the back, up on the lift.

Your right, on happy mgf

I think she looks sad
"Where am I? You're not leaving me, are you? Please don't leave me. Promise to be good. My big brother told me that you'd had enough of me, but I can change. Promise. Please don't sell me. I'll be a good girl, I won't let you down........what's that man doing to my........oh, the indignity........"
She'll come back to you a changed woman, and the love affair will be renewed

So it seems my MGF is now sniffing a MG Midgets butt Lol

Ben has done a marvellous job so far, there were 5 areas on the O/S that needed doing.

One major area which was the rear sill, plus 4 small cosmetic areas. Thankfully the sill area was just the inner and outta skin, somebody had already welded a plate previously, most probably to get it through an MOT cheaply.

Its nice to be told there are no further underlying rot issues, she is solid and not much surface rust underneath either, we reckon the front and rear subframes have already been replaced in the past.

What's strange is... this 22 year old F seems to be in better condition underneath than my 17 year old ZT that is a bit of a worry...

Default The rust work is done :)

She is back from the body shop and looking pretty good, we picked her up this afternoon.

I just cannot believe what a marvellous job Ben has done, you wouldn't even have guest the rust was ever there...

The worst was the rear sill area, the rust has been cut out and a new piece fabricated, shaped and welded etc.

You would think the whole rear panel had been replaced, amazing work.

Here she is now with the whole rear panel and sill resprayed.

This is a before and after shot.
By the time I had removed most of the bubbled rust, this is how she looked.
BEFORE!

This is how she looks now with Ben working his magic.
AFTER!
