Although I'm precious over my 100% feedback I do feel that sometimes it might pay to leave a negative even if someone does retaliate. The response from Les is spot on and people will make there own mind up. We shouldn’t let the rip off merchants scare people off.

However, I have every sympathy with CTDi’s plight. If the person hasn’t paid they should have no right to do anything.

Default More ebay stuff..

I bought a spare wheel for the 75 on Ebay from a chap in Northern Ireland. Sent him a cheque and waited - days later nothing - emailed him - no reply. Eventually after about four weeks came to the conclusion I had been stitched up as he had been kicked off ebay!
I wrote him yet another email saying "If you haven't sent the wheel then please hang on to it as I have just discovered that I will be coming to Belfast with my Rugby Club in a months time so will collect from you in person!"
Two days later wheel arrived by special courier!

A reply from eBay to my last email:

When a buyer does not respond to an Unpaid Item notification and the
seller issues an Unpaid Item strike against them, the buyer can still
leave a feedback comment, but the feedback rating they leave for the
transaction will not appear and will not count toward the sellerâ?Ts
feedback score.

Good for you

Of course, the bigger your 100% total, the more idiots who will be out to wreck it for you.

The one negative I had in nearly 1500 positives was from somebody who sent me a message to explain his reason for doing so.

This is what he said:- "Because I can"

I was upset at first but people on fleabay can make accurate judgements so it doean't bother me now.

I'm sure eBay were most understanding and removed it when you asked.
