Default dvd's Full screen ?

Anyone know if you can watch dvd's on these units full screen rather than letterbox mode ? Also whatever film I watch always has the subtitles switched on and I have to switch them off is this standard ?

I am sure there is a setting from with the head unit menu for Subtitles and you should be able to zoom to fill screen via the remote control unit.

I think another member had also mentioned about the subtitles:-

That was me, but in reference to my add on DVB-T units subtitles being on, on every channel. I found a sticky setting in the DVB-T units menu which disabled them.

Another thing on two occasions now I've switched the unit on to find my radio presents gone,the battery hasn't been disconnected ,any ideas ?

The setting for full screen is available from the remote menu button and also you can adjust the subtitle setting, just make sure you have a dvd in to access it.
