My son in law gave me his as they had 2 cars in the family and my daughter works all week in Manchester. I use as my main car. Solid and well made. Over geared (6th is 42mph/1000 revs) and generally only use 4 gears in day to day running (2000 rpm = 50 mph) and 5th on motorways. Engine not as flexible as 75 but is very smooth at 2000 rpm. Not as economical as gets 43/44 mpg where I get 48mpg from 75 in normal usage. Rear seats are fixed which limits carrying capacity - so get my tourer out. Rear wheel drive so you have to keep your foot down into corners. Pleasure to drive. Have not had any snow to see what it is like then. Spares are more expensive but reliability is up there with the best. Any specific questions please ask or PM me. Mike |

Is200 makes a keen drifting car. My ex bosses both do drifting and out of the two cars they use for drifting the Lexis wins every time.
Hope this helps. |

If it of any use My daughter has the Lexus IS200,It is the most reliable car she has ever had.It is comfortable, quite and nice to drive.
It has an LPG conversion so is reasonably economical. But you do need to use the revs to get any sort of performance out of it. I would assume the diesel would have more torque and be more economical. Overall a nice car with Toyota reliability.

[QUOTE=klarzy;2779203]You should not be able to feel much difference between petrol and LPG, I would have the filter checked and the LPG system retuned...[/QUO
There is little or no difference between LPG and petrol in performance I was saying you need to rev the engine to get any sort of performance out of it. And economical as LPG is cheaper.
