I looked at converting one of my F's with my sons but baulked at likely £12 k cost.

Totally agree ideal for conversion. It has been done already of course. Google it. Even Rover played with the idea back in 2004.

Unfortunately my camera had a film of lacquer over the lens so a lot of the pics are of poor quality but I,ll try and put something together.
The build took about 2000 hours a lot of time was spent making the roof control unit, electronics is not my strong point but they say patience is avirtue.

I wish I had your patience!
Your work is of a craftsman of the highest order. I love your Coupe as well!

It's just unreal seeing these photos without the usual comments of "nice photoshop" etc that you would normally expect to see.

What us mere mortals dream of, Gerry actually builds, on his own, in his shed.

Simply astonishing .

Can't wait for the restoration show now.

Well Gerry you have finally achieved the convertible, most of us have drooled over the Coupe and Convertible for years and you have made dreams come true with your skill, knowledge, patience and plenty of wine, your car projects have to be some of if not the best posts on the forum in my opinion.

Looking back at your projects is there anything left for you to do with a Rover 75, is that it or will you be surprising us all again at some point ?

One request from me, if you are taking it to meets and shows any chance you could post on here which ones you are going to so we can all get a chance to tick it off our bucket lists !

You should be very proud of what you have achieved, arise Sir Gerry !
