Does make you realise just how far we have come in terms of car development.
I've always felt a little cheated that I've arrived in the 21st Century but don't yet have a pair of jet boots or a teleporter . Looking at videos like these though, and things don't seem too bad . Especially when you consider that I'm typing this message on a "magic typwriter" that instantly sends my message all over the world . Cliff

Thanks for that. What a great car as well, sight of that 6 cyl brings back joyous times. Mind you, he was right about the colour -much better in green or even blue.

Triumph 2.5 EFi, excellent.
I suppose a lot of that technology except ABS first saw the true light of day for BL in the early montego EFi The maestro MG1600 and early EFi had the digital dash and voice synthesis but all they did was read out what the conventional dash lights were showing. The montego had a more comprehensive system where faults were scrolled in the same style as an 80s fruit machine |
