Today I cleaned the inside of my new car.(75 cdt conny auto 2002) changed the oil and filter, both drop links, topped up with coolant and washer fluid.
The bonnet catch junction had failed so bodged it for now until I can figure out how to get it working properly.
All in the rain- lovely.

Give it an oil change, about 6 months overdue. also noticed the rear silrncer had failed so ordered two Walker ones, for saloon and tourer, to find out what the differences are. (I have both models so it's not an extravagance!)

Drove to Marbella this morning to get my intercooler fitted. Head garage mechanic had a look, reckoned he needed 3 hours to do the job: bumper off, radiator off, don't know about light fitments. Astraeus changed my bulbs for me with bumper off and light assembly removed...in about 5 minutes. No idea if 3 hours is right, but in any case, the garage was too busy to do today So back tomorrow...seeing as my mate the garage owner is doing it for free, I can't complain...too much!

Stopped off at Playa Real resort near Elviria to see an old friend at his work, and he took me out for a superb Indian meal at a local restaurant! Must look him up more often!

Hoofed down to Doncaster and back this evening to collect my new (to me) roll cab

As an aside, has anyone seen the current price of these "ex works"

It's about 23 years since my original was stolen, and to be fair I'm getting a little to long in the tooth to be humping around the top chest these days

A bit dusty, but nothing that a wash and a couple of touch ups here and there won't sort

Besides that, my top chest has seen an awful lot of service since I got it in 1987 .....so you couldn't put it atop a nice shiny new one

Pressure washed the paint off my sill trim after a piece had chipped of a few months ago...

Chrome one side, unmarked blue the on other...but guess you can't see both sides at once so will stay like that for now...

I had a Snap-On ‘Masters’ series roll cab and matching top box. We got fitted tool cabinets at work so I had to bring mine home (minus the tools) it sat in my garage for 6 months and the draws were starting to stick due to the cold and lack of use so sold it Really nice tool boxes and nice to have

A long day at a wheelchair basketball tournament with my daughter but got home just before it got dark. I finally got round to changing the vac pipe to 4.5mm as per Steve’s recommendation. The electrical valve side had started to split, it looks like the replacement pipe I used last was slightly too small causing the split. Tourer back in action tomorrow hopefully.
