Default Restoration show at the NEC this weekend

Anybody going to this show , or has anybody been in the past , is it worth a day out and a 6 hour round trip ?

Answer is yes if you’re within a reasonable travelling distance. Unfortunately for me it would involve a two night stay as the drive down before or after the show would be too much.

There’s loads of stands selling their wares along with the cars themselves.

Enjoy it

It's a decent show, and my 1969 Rover 3500 in April Yellow will be on the Rover P6 Club Stand.

I'll be there tomorrow - I have a mate showing his car (BMW, unfortunately) on the Modern Executive Classics stand. I'll be browsing the MG stuff, and may look at an MGA project car that is going into the auction. If you are into classics and car restoration it is a good show, if you can stomach the NEC parking charges (now 16 pounds) and some of the excruciating live action on the stage, usually hosted by irritating TV car show celebrities such as Tim Shaw or Mike Brewer !.

Cheers

Pete

Park at the railway station next door cheaper and closer just walk through the station hall and you are in the NEC.
Cheers Ian

It's a great show, last years:-

Won't be able to manage to attend this year as it clashes with the 27th.

No charge for parking last year, I see there's a charge this year though advance booking brings it down to £12.00.
