I'm also interested in the answer to this as I've just fitted a Kenwood KDC BT6544U.

Default Steering wheel leads

The leads in the 75s main loom for the steering wheel controls are
BLUE/PURPLE and BLUE/ORANGE. If you wish to confirm then you will see varying resistances across that pair according to which steering wheel button you press.

You get a small box with this unit that a white plug goes into then into the head unit at the round conector.
If you order this one:-
http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/ROVER-75-C...item3ef448845d
this is the exact one i ordered just tell them which head unit you have mine was a JVC.

Default Steering Wheel Controls

Have a look here, and as far as I am aware you need the leads shown below

http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...=131423&page=2

For the MG ZT you need this adapter plus the appropriate Patch Lead

http://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/autol...or-p-9102.html

and for the 75 you need this adapter plus the appropriate patch Lead

http://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/autol...or-p-9101.html

Hope that helps

Stu

It depends which was the original stereo fitted to the car - the Harmony, Symphony or later single DIN unit, or in the case of the ZT, it may have been the Kenwood unit.

They all have the same system for the steering wheel controls, but use different connectors, adapter leads are available with matching connectors.
