Default driver info pack packed in

Hi all

Well my drivers info pack has stopped working
worked fine yesterday morning

any ideas what could have happened? ? (my memory is shot so cant remember for the life of me where to start looking)

Try a battery reset, disconnect battery for 20 mins then re connect. Does the mileometer stay on when you turn the car off if so this cures that too!

Disconnecting the battery does seem to put right a lot of faults

also just noticed battery looks very old (its a 04 car) so maybe thats a bit tired too

A dodgy battery can play all sorts of weird things to start happening.If it looks dodgy get a new one specialy coming into the winter.

bought my old girl just over 5yrs ago with a failing battery {although i did`nt know it at the time} and all sorts electric-wise was happening.

most puzzling was the drivers seat resetting itself fully forward after i had locked the car, but it never moved right after locking though, it moved when it wanted sight unseen .
