The 'chimney stack' and Wellington lodge are part of Whitehavens mining history

'Marmite' Possibly one of the most famous 75 tourers produced! left the production line as the last of only Three Rover 75 tourers produced in Trophy Yellow. 48 hours later Longbridge closed. The last sold ordered 75 Tourer. Paid for by the Phoenix Four and handed over by John Towers to the Warwickshire Northampton Air ambulance service as a Rapid Response vehicle

I have hundreds of photo's from here, but I shall just post a few up so as not to overload any servers or anything

The bandstand in our local park is 100 years old this year, and there was a centenary opening party held were members of the local "friendship" club all dressed up for the occasion

then we had local councillors and others doing some speeches

I even made a 360 degree picture, you can see it here

These are three of the very first pictures I took with my new Canon 3 months ago.

Overlooking the town in which I live is a Senotaph..

To the West is the sprawl of Manchester, you can just make out the Beetham Tower...

To the East the Dark Peak...

Don't have any of the entire town, not sure why not. I'll have to take some soon. Here's some snaps
