Default Starter motor 2.5 v6

Hello, I am new to this forum am also the new owner of a 1999 2.5 V6 Conni.
I am desperate for help with removing the starter motor please.
I understand it has 3 bolts, I can only see 1 with battery box and air cleaner box removed.
Do I have to access from underneath the car or can I get to them all from the top
Many thanks for any help

You can get to them all from the top Mel.

Thanks for quick response Simon, do I need to move any hoses? I can only see one bolt or do I have to feel for them?
Thanks
Mel...

Mel,

If you'd like to give me an e-mail address via PM I will send you the page from RAVE which includes an illustration of the three bolts.

A click and an alarm bleep sounds like a duff battery. I understand that repeated attempts to start on a duff battery can affect the ECU. Hopefully, someone with T4 knowledge can guide you on this.

Connect an external battery charger for 30 hours Mel. As roverbarmy says, your battery is discharged.
