Default Ooops help

N/S/F door hasn't been unlocking on keyfob nor internal button 'unlock' for some while so it has to be opened from the inside via a tug on the handle - which is one short 'tug' to unlock (so it can then be opened from the outside using the handle) or a 'long' tug (or two short 'tugs') to open from the inside and been putting a proper repair off until the spring.
Last night, nothing! Tried all sorts of combinations but it remains locked so I guess the mechanical link arm has disconnected.
I've got a replacement solenoid, is there any way I can get the door free to work on other than by removing the card with the door locked/closed.

Update: Got it open today first try after clearing the early morning dump of snow. It was a wee bit warmer than last night so it may have been an icy mechanism and I'm now going to give the latch plate a dose of lithium grease in case it was that.

We've seen a lot of iced up mechanisms lately - including one on our own 75!
It opened fine, but the door wouldn't shut again... how annoying

The issues you had before this sound like a duff door actuator - in the end we opted for new (just over £100) while they're still available.
Thankfully fitting is easy enough - just be careful when disconnecting the link rod to the handle as we damaged the small lever when removing ours.

John did you manage to sort your door problem out? If so how?

Yes thanks. Combination of 'poverty'/moisture and low temperatures. The activator was fine so it got a good drying out, clean and some fresh lithium grease.
