with mine I usually press and hold one button and turn the ignition on. If that doesn't work i try again with the other button.
Mine is a Gunson one and didn't come with instruction either

If you want them all reset, just try pressing the buttons.

I have one - having done all of the services, yesterday I couldn't remember how to use mine, so I just pressed buttons until the warnings were all cleared.

Fix a poor handbrake; DIY ABS diagnostic unit; Loan of the spanner needed to change the CDT belts; free OBD diagnostics +MAF; Correct Bosch MAF cheap; DVB-T install in an ex-hi-line system; DD install with a HK amp; FBH servicing.

I've taken a vow of poverty. To annoy me, send money.

Plug it in, turn ignition on, press the button, ignition off. Then try the ignition again to see if it's reset

These are the Chinese instructions that came with mine:

Operating Instructions:
• Plug the Device into the OBD2 socket of the car.
• All LED`s will blink and than stay on.
• Turn ignition key to enable the board electronic but don`t turn on the engine.
• Press the button for the operation you want to perform shortly.
• The LED of the chosen operation will light and the other Led`s will be off.
• LED`s will perform a light chain which means reset is done.
• On some dashboards there is needed to make a inspection reset before a oil reset.

Pretty much as Ronnie said.

I've see this on all the Chinese adverts, but what the heck does it mean?
If you need to reset the 'Oil Service' display, what's the 'Inspection' reset got to do with it? You don't even need to do that with the paperclip method.

And what happens if you get it serviced by a garage who have no idea of the difference between oil and Inspection services?

Baffled.

Not got a clue TC!
I just pressed the oil button and got an "oil service" countdown on my display.

Obviously, it doesn't apply to my dashboard type. Maybe because it is wood.
