Morning all - I may have to consider taking my thermals off it's so warm out in the garden - pesky grass and daisies are all growing like there's no tomorrow

When I was a sales rep. in the insurance industry, we used to finish work around 11.00am after a sales meeting - pub lunch with the sales manager and then go home to avoid the school's out rush

Well I learn summert new every day! The celery seed I planted has grown like crazy in trays but it looks nowt like celery!
I grew it from the celery seed I bought for cooking (If you want to put some zing into soups a tablespoon of these will pep it up no end ) What's grown, (I had to look it up) is 'Smallage' a type of wild celery, It looks like chives & has a onion & celery taste, I've been chomping on it in the greenhouse & it's lovely. I've been raking the dead moss out of the lawns again & they look like a bomb site The grass seed/fertiliser has arrived so I'll be sowing grass seed this afternoon. Speaking of soup! I had lots of veg that needed using up & chick peas as it was shopping yesterday and we've got fresh supplies. I found three chicken thighs in the freezer & knocked up a hearty chicken/chick pea/veggie soup & blitzed it up. Fresh crusty Tiger bread to go with it.

Afternoon all, glorious day here, been sitting in the garden having a coffee with my wife. Shame it’s all going pear shaped by the weekend. Back to the usual rubbish weather, even talking about SNOW showers for Sunday. Typical when I’m back to work on Monday after being off for 6 weeks. Still I did my bit by staying at home for the period when the virus was at its highest level. The customers won’t wait for ever, other lads in the trade have continued working all the way through,so if I don’t go back soon I may not have a business to return to.

Good afternoon Richard, I hope it all works out for you when you return to do your job. Will you need a work pass if you get stopped by the police, is that how things are?

Evening all, Glorious sunny day today albeit too hot for me, I'm sun brunt Just had the two S's and got me Mush Mush Scottish pine beard balm on and I smell like a lady boys front room
Not had any any post for three days now Waiting on a ton of seeds that's been on order for over 6 weeks, Compost too from the QVC TV channel The ne'er do wells have been quiet on their off road motor bikes & bleddy noisy dump valve big exhaust cars lately. PC Plod has been informed via facebook & I've seen a cop car knocking about for the last few days. Seems facebook has taken over the 101 phone number for a quicker responce.
