Yes, as everyone else has pointed out, your daughter's health is all that counts now.

Thanks for everyone kind words, I’ve had some sleep and my daughter seems ok in herself this morning, will spend the day at home today keeping a eye on her, even though she wants to go to school, as said the car is just a car and I can always repair it myself if need be;

Hi Micky. All these things are sent to try us. It is how we deal with them that defines us. Your car is damaged. It can be repaired. Your daughter has been poorly. She is still with you and things can be done to find out what caused it. A very worrying time for all concerned, but, time will bring everything together again, and a happier time is ahead. All your family has our best wishes for a speedy recovery and repair. All the best Mick.

All the best to you. Testing times, but I am sure you'll get through them.

People who drink and drive should have their vehicle confiscated, and the penalty should reflect the risk they pose to other people. To me it is a joke.

Count me in on that also. The problem is, the punishment does not reflect the crime.

A lot are repeat offenders to whom the possibility of getting caught and any potential punishment are irrelevant. If they are banned they'll drive anyway. Need a seed change in society to stop drink driving.

I had a single car crash right in front of me at 7:15 in the evening, wandering all over the road to such an extent that I dropped right back then it drifted into the gutter, caught a metal fence and flipped onto its side. Subsequently found the female driver was done for drink driving.

So relieved to hear your daughter is feeling a little better now, our cars are special enough to us all and it pains us when something goes wrong with them but as you know only too well ... nothing is more precious than our children, I think I speak for everyone .... our thoughts are with you and your family and hope your daughter recovers quickly.
