Funny that they can’t or won’t find the money to make the Dartford Crossing free !

£30 a year for the Dacia which is why we bought it, the daily driver.

£26 monthly for the ZT, and £25 for the TF daylight robbery.
Both cars don't do no more than 1,000 miles a year.

Thieving lying robbing government, came as no surprise tbh, someone has to pay for all the freebie tax duty on all these super clean fuel burning and hybrid chunks of c**p being produced, might as well be us, it'll go up again mid-year as soon as the government realise just how much the Br**it fiasco is going to cost the UK.

The government know how much it's going to cost, it's joe public who are going to get one almighty shock when they don't end up in the land of milk and honey. I'm going to invest in a £0 ved car shortly.

It'll soon change. £0 VED won't last long when there aren't enough diesel and petrol cars to balance the books. Also VAT on electricity won't stay at 5% either, not when it needs to replace all the 'lost' VAT on petrol & diesel and their respective fuel duties.

Hopefully we will all end up with mileage trackers and everyone will pay the same £ per mile at a flat rate with no exceptions. The further you drive, the more wear on the roads etc and the more pollution produced, fair for everyone. Are government brave enough to implement it?

Whilst i admit it's a royal pain in the rear having to fork out all my hard earned on road tax to partly fund these 0 tax vehicles, I would still rather take the hit and drive the car of MY choice rather than a car of the governments choice!

I thought the zero tax band had been reduced by a way under the new system?

Zero emissions is still zero pounds road tax on first year rate and standard rate.

Cars registered between 1 March 2001 and 31 March 2017 can pay as low as £0, £20, and £30 A,B,C bands.
