Default 2004 ZT 190SE Anthracite SPARES/REPAIRS

MG ZT 190+
Anthracite Grey
Grey/Black half-leather interior
18" Hairpin Alloys with nearly new tyres
MOT - Sept 2019

Unfortunately I have to sell my ZT to somebody else (or a scrapyard)!

I bought this ZT in June 18 as a project and spent about 6 weeks getting it ready for its MOT. Since Sept I have been using it as my daily driver, but it now has an issue which I do not have the time or funds to fix.

Some good bits:

Seemingly genuine 59k
Engine is in very good working order - no leaks, VIS motors working, pulls like a train!
Very clean interior

Bad bits:
Needs a clutch replacement (pretty sure the friction plate has disintegrated) No clutch slippage at all, just baulking gears
No evidence of cambelt change
Bodywork needs some attention - worst bit is the wheelarch in pics, rest is minor scratches and scuffs.

What I have done:

NSF Door Mirror:
Damaged mirror replaced with good, working mirror

Sunroof leak:
Removed the interior, fixed sunroof leaks, dried the carpet completely, renewed side impact sensors, replaced interior

Handbrake:
Upgraded the handbrake compensator

Plenum drains:
These hadn't caused a problem, but still needed draining. Pollen filter renewed.

Thermostat:
Replaced the thermostat and associated pipework, renewed fuel rail o-rings, renewed engine coolant

VIS system:
Dismantled both VIS motors, tested and replaced non-working parts, regreased and resealed the motor units

Rear lights:
Replaced cracked light lens

Headlights:
Polished the lenses back to clear

The interior is in an excellent condition for the age of the car. The low mileage really shows inside the car with no rips, stains or damage aside from some minor scuff marks on the drivers seat bolster (See pics).

It is barely driveable, enough to get onto a trailer. It could well drive for 200 miles, but you cannot really use the clutch!

I will be contacting scrapyards to find a price this week.

£250 for a very good low mileage engine and I'll throw in the rest of the car for free!
