walnut gear knob
If you want a cheaper option for walnut gear knob, have a look at ebay item 230106452411.
It looks like a universal (3 grub screw) fitting covered by screw on trim. I bought a similar one, and I'm delighted with it. Obviously can't g'tee this will fit, but a couple of Q's to the seller could clarify. No, I'm not the seller, I was just ebay browsing for something else and came across it. Malcolm |

Sorry, Fogey, mine's got a beige gaiter, otherwise I'd tempted!

My new gear knob arrived today - well pleased.
It is a "one size fits all" job, exactly as described by Baxlin in his opening post. A little fiddly to fit but once in place it looks great. The walnut is an exact match for the 75s OEM trim, and it looks every bit as impressive as the Rover bespoke part (imo). A few pics below to show it off. Now I need a Walnut handbrake lever, and (as you will see below) much improved photography skills. Once again, many thanks to Baxlin for spotting the item on ebay. Cliff |

Yes they do and very nice they look too
They even do the light oak knobs for £15 which is a bargain if you consider the price this has reached :- http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=130094217663 Some desperate people out there in ebay land |
