I posted it in the land of face too. Some local members are making enquiries with the council.

If I were close............I would just go and take home..........wait a few months......apply for the logbook and hope I get one back.

Sadly if someone then got in touch and reported it missing, you then face a charge of: 'Taking a vehicle without the owners consent' (TWOC) is it worth the thought?

Better off ringing the council, give them the reference number and ask if you could remove at your cost should the owner not come forward.
