Today I fitted my new CD Changer - it was really simple to do too. Now lots of happy motoring listening to what I want instead if some radio DJ choosing for me!

Changed my rear bumper for one without sensors and a bug scuff on it, it has a few little ones but I can make it look nice in an afternoon so as soon as I found where I put the sensor ecu and loom they will be for sale and started fiddling with some faulty powerfolds, hoping to have them working soon

Broke it (well, yesterday!)
Pottering along, and it went into 3rd with an almighty bang. It now does it every time the autobox changes from 1st to 2nd, and 2nd to 3rd. Engine mount is new.

Turns out it's the 2/4 duty solenoid in the box that's fubar - so this week is in tatters while I sort that out.

Changed the fixings on my heatshield for new ones, with stainless repair washers xovered in copper grease and a rubber wiring grommet on each to abosrb vibration (was recommended to me so why not). This was to resolve a judder/vibration when pulling away, when I hit my gead on the exhaust I found that it was resting against the bumper, this has happened before and my local garage repaired it FOC so back to them I go
