How long do you want the engine/clutch to last?

Apart from getting hold of one , the next biggest problem is actually fitting it.

The access is so limited you need to be up on a Lift and then you need at least one arm with 3 elbows in it , to actually get in there ! .

A tiny bit easier if you remove the intermediate shaft mounting.

And then after the washer end is clamped on the Rod , where does the other end of the spring go ?. the instructions are very vague .

Bin there dunnit etc ..etc ..

The turbo boost is all controlled manually - no tuning box (or remap - despite what you might be told when you buy one!) can alter it.

Mines at ~24 PSI.

I've seen this criticism before - but the alternative of fitting a manual boost controller shouldn't be too difficult IMO (that is to say - access isn't terrible, although you need to go up and under the car)

No I didn't mean a tuning box would alter the boost I thought that having more fuel when it's on boost ie more boost more fuel more pull?

What's the maximum safe boost we can run? I now have a Synergy 2, the 160 map and the EGR bypass sorted, but I'm literally billowing black smoke. It'd be nice to turn some of it into power.
Not too fussed about 'breaking' anything, I have a spare engine here. I'd rather not, though...

I don't think the fuelling across the rev-range is brilliant (I have a 160 map and a Synergy on 10, so to be expected!) which is what causes it - but on the road its fine.
