Route for amp power cable
Hi all ,
I'm fitting a amp, any advice on access through bulk head. Any pics Thanks |

I ran mine through the bulkhead on the drivers side , there's an empty grommet in there , then across the car in the plenum chamber where there is another empty grommet next to the battery.
If you remove the trim near the wipers no crawling around either Stan

if it's an aftermarket amp for a subwoofer or under seat sub it should be connected directly to the car battery.
On the diesels there's a blank grommet in the bulkhead next to where the bonnet cable passes through on the driver's side, you can use that. On one of mine I just drilled a hole through the bulkhead on the passenger side, painted the exposed metal and fitted a grommet there which came in handy for other cables I had to run from the engine bay to the interior of the car. |
