![]() Just today from Donald Trump:
"If you handed it to us on a silver platter, we want nothing to do with it." The good thing about this is that Donald Trump is someone you can absolutely trust who never goes back on his word. Unlike that other Donald Trump who said the NHS would definitely be on the table. Totally reassured now. |

I've often thought he's got a multiple personality disorder of some kind. If you played back a recording of him saying what he's said in the past then he labels it " fake news" which has been manipulated by the media!

Yeah, I never imagined they would want to ‘buy out’ the NHS, as such. But wanting to supply it with higher priced drugs will mean it will cost more to run, hence higher taxes etc. I just wish the politicians would be honest. I know, I know I am expecting too much! |

![]() Some common sense at last on this from the Nuffield Trust.
They say that whilst it is possible that American Pharmaceutical Companies would like to see a new deal set up post Brexit, the scenario published by Labour and touted as the “Truth” by Corbyn is “Fairly Extreme” and that for Labour to promote this figure as certain is both “misleading and unjustified”. Like others have said - you know a politician is lying when you see their lips move. And Trump is no different to Corbyn in this regard. But if anyone wants an objective analysis - I recommend having a look at what the Nuffield Trust says in its analysis. There are some on here who clearly have an agenda. Be wary of that. Edit - Just read more of the Nuffield Trust report - they make it clear that as the NHS buys from providers all over the world and the U.K. is a world leader in Pharmaceuticals- then it would not be ONLY American Pharmaceutical Companies that would benefit from any possible price rise - UK firms would as well. Seems to me that those that spread this story on the one hand like to say you cannot trust a politician but then repeat the utter tosh spouted by Corbyn

![]() If our friends and allies did get their mits on it there is no easy way parliament could stop it by 'voting' against. Those finance deals are done and dusted in secret and don't normally need an Act. Think they are under the spell of the Trusts. All the more reason to hold feet to a fire. Like an absolute unbreakable manifesto guarantee - just like all those other ones that fall by the wayside when 'circumstances' change.

![]() What I find distasteful about the faux outrage is that the Corbyn cult are foaming at the mouth, but a few years ago, when the EU was negotiating a secret US trade deal (TTIP) then not a word was spoken.
It is a classic example of selective outrage and lies by omission. They all do it. |
