Question Reversing Sensors

I have a 2002, 75 Connoiseur Estate with reversing sensors.

Does anyone know where the fuse is for the sensors or any other way of silencing them? I tow a caravan and am shortly to attending a one and a half day reversing course - I don't want them beeping in my ear the whole time!!

I have been informed that the factory fitted towbar, when fitted, prevents this when electrics are connected. Mine was fitted by a towbar specialist, but is not a factory fitted towbar.

Anyone help?

Welcome along

Easiiest way is to locate the control unit which is in the boot, RHS, and unplug the white connector.

Hi and welcome Gunner.

The other thing to do is to put a switch in line on the power feed to the control unit. That way you can isolate them when towing.

Can you not just pull the cable out of the sounder like you can on a Saloon?
