Thumbs up First grading at Karate today, Wish us luck!!

Today is a sad day for our family. Its the anniversary of Taz's death, Taz was our dog.
He was brought up with our kids, he died on Halloween 4 years ago .
So you can see while Halloween gets kids all exited, it's a bit of a downer for us.

But today
My son and i are grading for our first belt in Karate and we have decided to do it in Honour of wazzer.
We think we are ready (we better be!! it's costing £80) and tbh its not a big deal, its a low belt, the lowest infact, a white belt (with a thin red stripe).
so lets hope we can turn this day into a fonder memory than it's been for the past four years.

Thats for the 2 of us, but it includes a 3 hour training and the belt, so it sound pricey, but tbh, we had a great day

Jeesus the cost has gone up from 50p since I took up Wado-Ryu when I left school. Practiced for 10 years, never bought a belt, had white belts off beginners and got a sister to dye them. Had a tatty almost white gi , could never afford a gi or belt, spent it all on Ralgex.

I did Judo for a few years and got up to blue belt from memory, it was really good actually but I wasn't good enough to advance much further
