Is there anyone going to the National Meet, who is calling into see Stocktake, as I have a VIS tester for him to take a look at? Cheers

HI Gatekeeper,
I will be coming from Manchester, but will be seeing Stocktake at the Nano Meet in a weeks time. I would be happy to pass it on for you.
Pete.

See you all Sunday but will be in a different car the probe still getting parts for her still and waiting.

Plenty of shots of the cars will be done on the day.

Thanks Pete. I was in touch with Dave recently about it. It’s boxed up and I will cover his expenses. Much obliged.

Yes forecast just gets worse every time I look at it. Now giving 40mph gales as well as heavy rain so I can't blame anyone that chooses to stay at home But several of us are still committed to the event so it will go ahead in some form.
Cheers Ian

Ian, full marks to you . It seems so unfair after all the effort in organising things, that you should have such bad weather in August .

If I hadn't been such a (Insert your own invective) and booked such a short stay, I would still have attended (easy to say when you're sitting at home though ). In the end, I just couldn't justify the cost for the one day, dragging Mrs Teflon halfway across the country, only to return home the very next day just as the weather clears. Fortunately for me, I was able to cancel my Premier Inn booking without charge, and even the cattery refused my efforts to compensate them for the late cancellation. At least the cat is happy.

I regret to say, guilty as charged . Full respect to all those who attend in support of the club - I really do hope you get a break in the weather. I'll be thinking of you on Sunday.

The view from my Anglesey Hotel window right now

It’s been a lovely day today, who’d have guessed that Sunday will see Noah and his Ark sail by
